90 Day Fiancé: Signs That Ben & Mahogany’s Storyline Is Totally Scripted
Ben Rathbun and Mahogany Roca are still getting to know each on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but their storyline has fans raising their eyebrows, and it’s because the couple and their journey is quite possibly the fakest they’ve ever seen in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. There’s a lot about Mahogany and Ben’s relationship that viewers just aren’t buying, and it’s hard to believe anything about them is genuine.
The shock among fans that Mahogany is a real person and not a catfish as they’d predicted has settled down, but there are still a lot of doubts about Ben’s Peruvian online girlfriend. After their awkward first encounter, Ben is concerned that Mahogany is not on the same page as him regarding their relationship. Ben still believes God brought them together and wants to get closer to Mahogany, but Mahogany seems much more reserved. In the latest episode, Ben got to see where Mahogany supposedly lives and meet her parents, but there was a lot that felt off about it to both Ben and viewers.

Many fans flat out believe Mahogany is a paid actress and suspect production hired the woman in the photos Ben’s catfish had sent him. There’s something a little too poised and polished about Mahogany, and there’s an ongoing debate among fans about whether her accent is real or fake. The latest episode only made things worse. Mahogany’s “home” was a very obvious AirBnB apartment that even Ben picked up on. There was a room with bunk beds, games on the shelves that Mahogany didn’t play, and even a surf board despite her not knowing how to surf.
