Despite having not traveled much due to her aplastic anemia, Stephanie flew to Port Augusta, a small town in Southern Australia, to meet Erika in person. The two had issues from the start. Stephanie was not showing Erika much affection, Erika thought that the YouTuber had a very different personality than she did in her videos, and they each had a different idea of what to do for fun. Stephanie was also suspicious of Erika's relationship with her friends, and she thought Erika's networking app was a dating app. Stephanie was going to come out to her mom and then decided against it, which made Erika concerned she was being used. The couple called it quits, and many viewers accused Stephanie of faking being into women.
