Johnny originally planned to visit his Idaho-based online girlfriend for several months. However, Ella has reacted furiously to Johnny delaying his trip due to the pandemic. Due to the pandemic, Ella is unable to visit Johnny in China. Johnny's only chance to see Ella in the United States is to quarantine in Dubai for two weeks before making the flight over.
