The couple won many viewers over with their divorcées-in-love story, though Matt already had a history of splitting up with his wives. Matt and Alla were introduced on 90 Day Fiancé season 4. The couple met online but fell out of touch when they each married other people for a time. American Matt then divorced his third wife, while Ukrainian woman Alla also found herself single. This led to the duo rekindling their romance. Though many franchise fans loved their unique love story, Alla admitted to not yet loving Matt shortly before they tied the knot. This caused many of Matt’s fans to express their concerns over whether or not their marriage was a good idea.

Matt became a father to Alla’s son Max, while the couple has since welcomed two children of their own into the world. They had daughter Emmalynn in April 2020 and welcomed their son Marcus in February 2022. Now Matt and Alla are a happy and blended family of five living the American dream.
