2K has just announced a brand-new horror narrative game with an all-star Hollywood cast of beloved scary film actors. It launches for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on June 10, and you can pre-order it right now.
It stars Scream's David Arquette, Modern Family's Ariel Winter, Jurassic World's Justice Smith, Dollface's Brenda Song, Aliens' Lance Henriksen, and A Nightmare on Elm Street's Lin Shaye. They play a group of teenage counsellors who get attacked by locals in the middle of a party. Sound familiar? It's very Friday the 13th. Only instead of one machete-wielding murderer, they have a whole group to fend off.

It's also very Until Dawn, another star-studded horror narrative game where choices are the central focus, drawing inspiration from movies; "The Quarry is breaking new ground across interactive storytelling and technology to create a truly visceral teen-horror experience," director Will Byles said. "I can't wait to see the choices you make, who you'll save, and who you're willing to sacrifice."
The Quarry is being developed by 2K in collaboration with Supermassive Games, and while it's a narrative horror that emphasizes choice, you can play it online with up to seven friends who will vote on those choices in the story. Together, you can carve out your own narrative. It even has couch co-op where you can play as different counsellors.
According to 2K, any of the nine counsellors are fair game meaning that who makes it to the end of your story will be very personal to your tailored playthrough. Your choices are what will determine who makes it and who ends up on the chopping block. But there's also that mystery to uncover with the locals - who are they?
