Anya takes players on many exciting adventures in , which incorporates 17 minigames alongside the overarching story of the game. While the main narrative involves the Forger family, from the popular series, going on various outings for Anya to fulfill a school photo project, the minigames take place separately. Even so, each minigame has a way to tie into the general theme of the game as activities that Anya and her family are doing in their day-to-day lives.
For the most part, each of the 17 minigames is vastly different from one another, with the exception being two of the Tycoon card games, which can either take place at school or home in separate games. 10 of the games can be played as local multiplayer mode versions, but must be selected from the title screen rather than within the campaign game in order for a second player to join. Additionally, each minigame is designed with a series of nine challenges that players can work towards completing for earning raffle tickets to get cosmetics in the game.

Anyone who has played the traditional schoolyard game of Red Light, Green Light may recognize some familiar themes in ' Anya At School minigame. The premise here is that Anya is at school and "" to do everything correctly for Professor Henderson. To do so, whenever Henderson is writing on the board, Anya must quickly take notes. As soon as he turns around to face the students, players must press a different button to raise Anya's hand before any of the other kids.
Occasionally, Professor Henderson will tell the students to listen and players must refrain from touching any buttons until he is done and turns back to the board. The speed of the levels increases throughout the game, requiring fast responses from players. This game can be played in two player mode.
