There is one Star Wars character who is perfectly equipped to help fix Din Djarin’s Darksaber struggles in the third season of The Mandalorian. Season 2 of The Mandalorian saw Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) win the Darksaber in combat from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). Later, in The Book of Boba Fett episode 5, the Armorer (Emily Swallow) teaches Din how to wield the Darksaber in combat before his admission of having removed his helmet sees him cast out. Now that the Armorer is no longer willing to teach Din how to use the Darksaber, there is one character in Star Wars who would be the perfect replacement.
Sabine Wren made her debut in Star Wars Rebels as part of the Ghost Crew. Having been shunned by her family and branded a traitor for refusing to create more weapons in service of the Empire, Sabine joined the Rebellion instead. She found the Darksaber on Dathomir while hunting down the former Sith Lord and ruler of Mandalore, Maul. Though initially hesitant to take on the legacy that comes with wielding the Darksaber, Sabine agreed to be trained by Jedi Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger to become proficient enough with the Darksaber so that she may one day unite Mandalore and convince them to join the Rebellion.

Though others have wielded the Darksaber after Sabine, namely Bo-Katan Kryze and Moff Gideon, no one is better equipped to teach Din how to wield the Darksaber than Sabine Wren herself. With her live-action Star Wars debut swiftly approaching now that the role of Sabine has been cast for the Disney+ Ahsoka show (Natasha Liu Bordizzo will portray her), Din Djarin’s and Sabine Wren’s meeting seems inevitable.
