Activision recently hosted two weekends of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta, giving gamers across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox the opportunity to try this year's Call of Duty multiplayer experience ahead of launch.
There have been plenty of viral clips from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta tests. Some of these clips show off incredible skill on the part of dedicated Call of Duty players in the new game, while others are more amusing in nature, like the one where an MW2 player was crushed by a teammate's care package. One clip that's been making the rounds online shows a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player kill themselves from across the map with their own grenade.

In the clip, Reddit user shogun_eyes is seen playing on the Farm 18 multiplayer map. They throw a grenade across the map, but are shot dead by enemy players right away. Unfortunately for shogun_eyes, they respawn on the other side of the map and happen to come into the game exactly where their grenade lands. The grenade blows up, killing shogun_eyes immediately after spawning.
There are a few different factors that make this clip possible. For one, Farm 18 is one of the smaller multiplayer maps in Modern Warfare 2, and so players are able to throw a grenade across it relatively easy. Secondly, Call of Duty games have long allowed players to kill themselves with their own grenades. This way, players have to be careful about where they throw grenades and how long they cook them.
