The popular YouTube content creator Dream has finally revealed his face, drawing an audience of over 1.5 million viewers to the video’s premiere on October 2. Yet somehow the YouTuber has managed to never show his face, keeping it hidden behind a smiley face mask every time he appeared on camera, though Dream did once reveal his hair on camera.
Not many content creators on Twitch or YouTube choose to keep their face hidden from their audience. While some may start out off camera, most usually show what they look like sooner rather than later, because it can be difficult to thwart the attempts of fans to uncover their favorite content creator’s face. At the end of September, Dream announced that he was finally going to reveal his face, and the excitement grew quickly. Just the announcement on his YouTube community tab grabbed 360,000 likes. When the video finally premiered on October 2, it drew an audience of more than 1.5 million viewers within four minutes of starting. Currently, just four hours after premiering, the video sits at nearly 10 million views and 1.3 million likes.
