In a clip uploaded to Reddit by user shatterplays, their fight alongside fellow Tarnished had resemblance to a scene from The Lion King. Having conveniently positioned the Lion Guardian near the edge of a cliff overlooking The Great-Jar, the trio attempt to overwhelm the beast until it falls off. Equipped with a Star Fist and Blood-Hound Step, the Redditor's efforts seem fruitful, with the incapacitated Lion Guardian clawing for dear life, frames away from plummeting.
However, the Lion Guardian decides to flip the script, clipping through the geometry and ending the onslaught against it within seconds. Edited to include an altered slice from The Lion King, Mufasa's eyes burn red just before the in-game lion takes revenge, carried out to the apt tune from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, «It Has To Be This Way.»
