The open world titleis no stranger to frustrating enemies, and few are more rage inducing than those in the open world that prove to be a greater challenge than Remembrance bosses. Elden Ring's Death Rite Bird unquestionably fits this categorization, with countless players finding this feral avian to live up to its name.
Big brother to the comparatively cuddly Death Bird, those with Rite for a middle name are any Tarnished's worst nightmare. With an elongated wingspan, additional magic damage and Frostbite status build up, the threat posed by these freakish raptors is immense. Able to attack by sweeping their poker, eat players up with a deformed beak, and one shot with an explosion from dozens of feet away, it is no surprise many have turned to cheesing this annoyance. With Elden Ring patch 1.07, some of the most significant changes post-launch to date were introduced, including widespread buffs to sorcery and incantations, many of which the Death Rite Bird is particularly weak to.
