1,000-Lb Sisters: Why Amy’s Nephew Braxton Is Gaining So Much Attention
1,000-lb Sisters star Amy Halterman is used to being in the spotlight, but now that focus has turned to her nephew Braxton. Amy's social media presence has gained her many followers as she frequently shares life updates and everyday moments. Although, her most recent Instagram post has fans focused on her nephew.
Since the start of 1,000-lb Sisters, fans have been heavily invested in Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton as they are on their journey to losing weight and getting healthy. Amy found success and qualified for bariatric surgery, while Tammy has struggled to find the motivation to stay on track. Amy always wanted to be a mother, which pushed her to keep going. All the hard work paid off, as she got pregnant shortly after her surgery, and she and her husband Michael Halterman later welcomed a healthy baby boy, Gage Deon Halterman. Now her family has grown even more as she was happy to announce the birth of her second son, Glenn Allen Halterman.

Amy is now home from the hospital and getting settled into the routine of being a mother of two. She is thankful to have her family by her side during this transition. Amy captured a sweet moment of her nephew Braxton holding Gage, which she shared on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “True love right here. Gage being a big brother and my nephew Braxton holding my babies.” While fans were excited for Amy and the new addition to her family, it was her nephew Braxton they couldn’t stop talking about.
