The Pokemon Sword and Shield era is rapidly coming to a close now that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are only three months away from release and the World Championship for Gen 8 is taking place in London. Gen 9 games will likely revolutionize the franchise with new additions and many pocket monsters, which seems extremely likely considering the leaks about Pokemon Scarlet andViolet's exact number of Pokemon. One of the most interesting aspects of new mainline Pokemon games is discovering exciting type combinations both new and old that change meaning and shape in the new generation, creating unique critters.
An example is that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's new Fire Pokemon will have a unique concept; according to the leaks, it will have two different split evolutions based on the version one is playing, and they will be a fiery warrior and a flaming sword, completing each other.
