A video games analyst has claimed that there's «hope» could be up to a $100 game, sending players everywhere reeling at these substantial costs.

With its release set for Autumn 2025, gamers have been highly anticipating this sequel to the hit for a long time now, with the original still a beloved title to this day.

Despite just the singular trailer release and a handful of details about it, it's already massively projected to be a bestseller.

The video games analyst Matthew Ball recently shared his State of Video Gaming in 2025 report, documenting several ways the gaming industry could evolve throughout 2025.

One of the largest focuses of this report, however, has been how may be one of the first games to raise prices to $80-$100.
