Elden Ring players already know they're in for it when DLC Shadow of the Erdtree drops next month, on the 21st of June, on PS5 and PS4. Developer Fromsoftware has been cooking, going by what we've seen so far, and now the sadistic studio is teasing an enemy ripped straight from our most persistent Bloodborne nightmares.
On Twitter, publisher Bandai Namco shared an image of an enemy that immediately reminded us of Bloodborne's Winter Lanter enemies, who, just by looking at them, would cause an instant-death Frenzy meter to fill. Judging by its tattered cloak, spindly frame, and Lovecraftian visage, this will be a top-tier threat and the death of many an overconfident Tarnished. Learn from Miyazaki's earlier teachings and deal with these monsters from a range, preferably killing them with fire.

This enemy was revealed the day the trailer dropped… must be a slow day for news to claim this as a «new» reveal. That said, I do freaking love the aesthetics of this enemy. Can't wait to die from it lol.
