Zelda Fan Recreates Toto's Africa With Majora's Mask Instruments
It is no real secret that the song «Africa» by the band Toto is one of the most well-known songs in the world, having garnered over 741 million views on its official YouTube video at the time of writing. The band Weezer also did a cover of this song back in 2018, which was also very popular. So this The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask player, named Bigfatfrown, decided to give their own cover of «Africa» a shot with their 3DS by playing Majora's Mask 3D.
Majora's Mask is often considered one of the darkest games in Nintendo's history.In Majora's Mask, Link is able to transform into different Zelda races. Each race uses their own instrument instead of the ocarina: the Deku Scrub has pipes, the Goron uses bongos, and the Zora uses a guitar. One of the masks in the game requires players to play a song that uses all the instruments in the game, which was likely an inspiration for Bigfatfrown.
