Magic The Gathering's Secret Lair crossover with Street Fighter may be coming sooner than we anticipated, as pro fighting game player Justin Wong has teased art from the upcoming drop.
Secret Lair is a limited-time storefront where exclusive Magic cards are available to purchase for just a few weeks. Over the last few years, it's also played host to a number of crossovers with the likes of The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, and Arcane as part of Magic's "Universes Beyond" brand.

Posting on Twitter, Wong revealed a box he received from Wizards of the Coast. While none of the cards themselves were revealed, the art for a card featuring Russian wrestler Zangief was revealed. He's wrestling a bear, because of course he is.
Curiously, the note Wizards sent him said this was just one of four different art reveals. Nobody else has come forward as having received the same box, yet, so Zangief is the first art we've seen for this since Chun-Li showed off at the initial reveal.
We do know that this release will feature original cards, rather than the Arcane crossover which gave existing cards thematic reprints. As three more pieces of art are being revealed in boxes similar to this, and we've already seen Chun-Li, we can anticipate there will be at least five cards in the drop (and maybe a token or a land, like the Stranger Things one).
Of course, Capcom itself is teasing something as well. A mysterious countdown appeared on the Capcom website yesterday, counting down to February 20, the same day as the final of the Capcom Pro Tour. Considering this year is Street Fighter's 35th anniversary, it's coinciding with one of the biggest events in the Street
