The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild stunned players when it initially launched with its sprawling beautiful world. While many players have adored exploring the world of Hyrule on their own, many have also often wished for the opportunity to do so with a friend.
While the question of whether Breath of the Wild 2 will have co-op is still up in the air, some fans and modders have taken it upon themselves to add multiplayer where Nintendo didn't. Now, months after an initial challenge, the results of their efforts are on display, and they're getting the community very excited.

Back in November, content creator PointCrow went to the internet with a challenge: create a multiplayer mod for Breath of the Wild that will allow 2-4 players to explore Hyrule together. With a $10,000 bounty on the line, it got the attention of eager fans and potential modders alike, and now PointCrow has shown what's come of the challenge. The content creator took to Twitch to share a six hour stream of what's possible in the new mod. Multiplayer gameplay starts at about 40 minutes in.
The Breath of the Wild multiplayer footage is certain to impress and whet the appetites of fans. Multiple Links in different outfits can be seen running around under the control of PointCrow and his fellow streamers.
