Zachary Levi reflects on his life-changing Shazam! casting four years ago in a short but sweet Twitter post. Then best known for playing the titular role in NBC’s Chuck (2007-2012), Levi was far from a household name back in 2017.

Despite a dedicated fanbase, many were surprised when Levi was cast to play another eponymous character in director David F. Sandberg’s DCEU movie Shazam!.
