Vampire Survivors is freakin’ finally coming to PS5 and PS4 next week (29th August, to be precise), and if you’ve never played the game before, we highly recommend this guide. This beginner’s tip comes in at just 20 seconds, so we don’t want to hear anyone complaining they don’t have time to prepare appropriately.

While a fun little gag, there is a lot more depth and strategy to Vampire Survivors than this clip would lead you to believe. Obviously, you need to think about how you’re going to build your loadout, and of course, even though you attack automatically, you need to be skilful and precise to avoid incoming enemies.

All of the title’s existing DLC will be available on PlayStation at launch, so you can look forward to a ton of different content, including a couple of expansions inspired by Among Us and Contra. One of the greatest games of all time

Like Kingdom Two Crowns this will problem be a game I'll come back to for at least the next 20 years. Man, this game!

This has been a wonderful year for smaller games for me. Dave the Diver, Balatro, Cult of the Lamb… and now Vampire Survivors. I can go another year easy without any big AAA releases at this rate just catching up with these smaller games.
