GameStop is selling Xbox Series X consoles online on Wednesday.
Players looking to pick up Microsoft’s latest console have two options.
The first is a $649 bundle which comes with an extra controller, a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and a $50 gift card to spend at GameStop.
This bundle proved relatively popular when it was last offered online, selling out on the day it was made available.
GameStop also has Xbox Series X consoles available to purchase with Xbox All Access.
Xbox All Access bundles allow customers to pay monthly for a new Xbox console and a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, from $24.99/£20.99 for Series S or $34.99/£28.99 for Series X, for 24 months.
Earlier today, GameStop said it will have PS5 console bundles available to purchase at some branches this Thursday.
Xbox Series X/S systems continue to sell faster than any previous generation of Microsoft consoles, according to the company’s gaming boss Phil Spencer.
In a New York Times interview this month, he claimed persistent Xbox shortages were not actually a result of less consoles being produced than was the case in previous generations. Instead, scarcity has been caused by a surge in demand since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Microsoft recently announced plans to acquire Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. Giving Xbox exclusive ownership of Call of Duty, Warcraft, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, Guitar Hero and more, the deal is expected to close during Microsoft’s fiscal year ending in June 2023.
