Retailers in the UK are dropping the price of the Xbox Series S for Black Friday.
The console is already the cheapest current-gen console when there are no discounts running, with a normal retail price of £249.99.
This was recently replaced with the Xbox Series S Starter Bundle, which includes the console and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (a value of £38.97) for the same price of £249.99.
Microsoft is selling both the Series S and the Series S Starter Bundle for £209.99, a saving of £40. However, other UK retailers are selling both versions at even lower prices than this, with some going as low as £189.99.
If possible, then, anyone looking to buy a Series S during Black Friday should aim for the Xbox Series S Starter Bundle first if it’s still in stock, because of the three months of Game Pass Ultimate they get with it.
Here’s a list of the most notable Xbox Series S Black Friday deals in the UK.
Because the Xbox Series S doesn’t have a disc tray, and because many retailers only sell physical games, there are fewer Xbox Series S bundles available beyond the Starter Bundle with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
However, Xbox recentlylaunched its digital Black Friday sale, offering discounts on more than 1,000 games on the Xbox Store.
This means players who buy a Series S will be able to take advantage of the digital sale, until it ends on November 30.
