It's gay month, which as we all know, means it's illegal to be straight for 30 days. To appease us LGBTQ+ overlords, brands pay their respects by adopting rainbow profile pictures until Pride is over. And maybe it will be enough for us to spare them during the revolution. Maybe.
Well, Xbox either didn't get the memo or is going through a crisis of faith right now, because it just had the wildest profile picture change ever. In the blink of an eye, Xbox's socials went from showing off Pride flags to representing the fiery gates of hell. And it's hilarious.

In an event that none of us can quite get over, Xbox's Twitter and Facebook accounts went from repping Pride Month to promoting Diablo 4. In other words, that meant it went from a bunch of rainbow flags to the burning depths of hell. Insert some reaction from Facebook conservatives here.
This is, of course, funny as hell. I like to imagine that the Pride stuff was meant to stay on for the whole month as usual, but then someone set the Diablo theme up without realising, taking over socials without thinking of the implications here. Whatever the case, it's wild. But also a waste of Xbox's pretty neat Pride logo this year, far more effort than we usually get this time of year.
It helps that expectations are so low with brands during Pride Month that everyone's only finding the humour in it. Like, it's the kind of homophobic joke that only a queer person could come up with. It's too funny to be a real message.
