As reported by VGC, Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb still perpetuates the idea that Xbox and Kojima's deal is recent and «still on.» Other details are scarce, as has been the nature of Kojima Productions aside from Death Stranding. Interestingly, Grubb believes that an Xbox deal would not «necessarily» affect an acquisition from PlayStation. This suggests that it is possible Kojima could have dipped his toes in both platforms for one exclusivity deal after the other, but it is not clear to what extent this is true or if it would even be plausible under the circumstances.
