Numerous WWE superstars, including Lana, Nia Jax, and The Authors Of Pain, are set to make their in-ring debuts for WES in England on June 4. The card is looking rather stacked at this point in time, with every single match featuring at least one performer who formerly worked in WWE. Many of these are names fans have been keeping an eye out for since their respective releases from WWE, and the WES is the federation The Authors of Pain started after being released in 2020.
Lana, who is working under her real name CJ Perry, will take on Jax, who is using the ring name Lina Fanene, to be the first-ever WES women's champion. Fans can also see Adam Scherr, who wrestled as Braun Strowman in WWE, fight Alistair Overeem to be crowned the company's very first WES Champion. The Authors of Pain, who have shifted their name to Legion of Pain, will be squaring off for the inaugural tag-team titles, while Killer Kross (known as Karrion Kross in WWE), Dean Muhtadi (FKA Mojo Rawley), and Levis Valenzuela Jr. (No Way Jose in WWE) are also on the card.

There are a lot of intriguing names for WWE fans in place here. Perry and Fanene have a mountain of history to work with, and it will be interesting to see whether or not WES leans into that in any way. WWE typically shies away from mentioning things that have happened in other wrestling promotions, but that's a luxury afforded to them by being the biggest wrestling company on the planet. Overeem hasn't always been in the press for all the right reasons and hasn't had a lot of positive things to say about professional wrestling in the past, so how WES books him will be intriguing.
