The comic stylings of Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps won't be missed for much longer as The Real Housewives of New York City stars recently signed a deal to star on their own spin-off show. The two women have provided some memorable TV moments for several seasons on the Big Apple series and now will be able to make their own memories. Fans are excited to learn more about the upcoming show.
Luann has been an original cast member and a RHONY fixture since 2008. Over the years, she's gone back and forth between being a fan-favorite and a villain, mainly due to her entitled attitude. She had been doing well with her sobriety journey until a recent outing at an NYC bar, where she was caught drunk on video. Sonja has been a staple on the show since 2010 and has been a fan-favorite ever since. The two women are looking forward to sharing the spotlight on their new show.

According to Page Six, the ink has barely dried on the ladies' contracts for their new show, which is set to be based on The Simple Life. Sources close to production shared that it would be a reality-based TV show as cameras follow the fancy friends as they travel around the flyover states and Middle America. Sonja and Luann will meet up with everyday folks and possibly live a day in the life of some of them. The show is still unnamed, but the cameras will start rolling in July. The source shared that the show is set to be greenlit any day now.
This new show is not the only spin-off from the New York series. Fans will recall that Bethenny Frankel got a few of her own while sharing her time on the show, which included Bethenny Ever After and Bethenny And Fredrick. Luann has already
