During its year hiatus, WWE 2K22 made a significant amount of changes to the way the series is played from the gameplay mechanics to the controls, which is why fans may want to change a few settings up before jumping into the ring. The newest iteration to the series promised to hit different, and it did just that. What it brings to the table are new combat mechanics, improved graphics, and a new immersive wrestling experience.
While the title may not be considered among the best wrestling games of all time, the team over at 2K Games and Visual Concepts have taken a solid step in the right direction. WWE 2K22 does have some missing features that were highly requested by fans, however, game modes such as MyGM and MyFACTION have been added to give more content variety to the title. One possible highlight that comes from WWE 2K22 is the number of gameplay options at players’ disposal, allowing them to tweak their gameplay experience however they please.

One of the most notable features that have changed compared to the last titles is that the combat has been simplified, having players perform combos in order to pull off certain moves. With this being the case, players may want to lower the AI difficulty setting, at least until they feel comfortable with performing specific combos. Playing WWE 2K22’s MyRISE career mode will also prove to be beneficial as it makes for great practice as well.
