A new video for WWE 2K22 confirms that Bobby Lashley will be a playable character in Visual Concepts’ latest squared circle simulator, and his stats are significantly beefed up from previous games. The Kanas native and former United States Army Sargent has had several high-profile runs in WWE and has appeared in plenty of the WWE's previous video games. Right now, Bobby Lashley is actively competing as part of WWE’s Monday Night Raw brand and is set to face Brock Lesner for the WWE Championship at the upcoming Royal Rumble event later this week.
In the meantime, 2K Games and Visual Concepts have slowly begun pulling back the curtain on the upcoming WWE 2K22, which they promise will be a significant improvement over the infamous WWE 2K20. Indeed, the developers took a two-year-long sabbatical from mainline WWE games to re-evaluate and fine-tune its approach to the in-ring action of WWE, and recent promotional material for WWE 2K22 promises revamped graphics and controls. Many features from past WWE titles like the popular GM Mode will be returning for WWE 2K22 alongside a new stable-building MyFaction mode and a 2K Showcase centered around the legendary Rey Mysterio.
