Grand Theft Auto V was one of the most successful games of all time with more than 185 million copies sold, but that doesn't mean Take-Two isn't afraid of the competition when it comes to GTA 6. Speaking to Inverse, Zelnick said Take-Two and its labels, like Rockstar Games, are always mindful of the competition.
«We're looking over our shoulders at our competitors,» Zelnick said. «We're terrified at all times, or we're not doing enough. There's no one who says, 'This is a perfect product, we're really proud of it. Let's take a deep breath, go to the beach.' We have to wake up and do it again, the next step.»

Before this, Zelnick spoke about how Rockstar's challenge with each new GTA is outdoing themselves. «It needs to be something you've never seen before,» he said. «And it needs to reflect the feeling that we have about Grand Theft Auto--that's a big challenge for the team. Rockstar's answer is seek perfection. Seek nothing short of perfection, and we'll get there.»
While Rockstar has confirmed that the first trailer for GTA 6, or whatever the game is called, will be revealed in early December, there isn't much else to go on, at least in terms of official details. A hack led to a huge leak of supposed details for the game, the main takeaway being that it could return to Vice City and feature multiple playable protagonists.
