Warning: SPOILERS for Moon Knight episode 1
Marvel Studios missed an easy Thanos reference in Moon Knight episode 1, and the decision to forgo an Avengers: Endgame connection was the perfect decision. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow following the Avengers' defeat of Thanos, it has become increasingly common for the franchise's more grounded Disney+ shows to address the fallout. Whether it's the The Falcon And The Winter Soldier's Flag Smashers, or Hawkeye's «Thanos Was Right» movement, the MCU Phase 4 has not shied away from referencing the Mad Titan. However, even though Moon Knight takes place after Avengers: Endgame, the new series has skipped making that same connection.
Moon Knight firmly takes place in the MCU continuity, despite the show giving very little indication of that. There aren't any obvious MCU references included in Moon Knight episode 1, with a possible Atlantis/Namor tease being the closest Marvel connection. This comes as a result of the show focusing on telling its own story, as the series seems to be making a conscious effort to work without major MCU ties. The perfect example of this mindset comes when Arthur Harrow references some of the greatest evils that Earth has faced. However, he doesn't mention the MCU's biggest villain to date.

Instead of indicating that Ammit could've stopped Thanos before Avengers: Endgame, Arthur names Hitler, Nero, and Pol Pot as some of the great evils the Egyptian goddess could've prevented from terrorizing humanity. The lack of a Thanos reference is striking, as he wiped out half of the universe for five years. Unless Ammit would've viewed Thanos' actions as commendable
