Who are The Silhouettes in the Tales from the Borderlands Teaser?
The original Tales from the Borderlands is a cult classic for a reason. While Telltale’s take on the Borderlands universe took a risk by swapping out looter shooter gameplay for the developer’s signature choice-based style, it succeeded by delivering several memorable characters like Gortys and Rhys. After years of waiting, fans will soon get to experience a new Tales from the Borderlands story.
As of now, it remains to be seen if the nextTales from the Borderlands game will bring back anyone from the original. The first teaser for the Gearbox-developed title does not provide any answers in this regard, as it features silhouettes as opposed to full character models. Due to this, fans are left to speculate about who these characters are, and there are a few possibilities.

Tales from the Borderlands’ first teaser seemingly features three characters, and it will be interesting to see if they are all playable or not. On the left, a female character can be seen, with her hair worn up so that it stacks on top of her head. This design does not seem to match any known characters in the Borderlands series, though it could possibly be an existing character like Sasha with a new haircut. For now, though, it is safe to assume that this is a brand-new character.
The character in the middle is particularly interesting, as it is clearly not human. It features a large, circular bottom, so it can be assumed it is a robot of some kind. Looking at the bottom half of the bot, it seems like this could be Gortys, as the cute Vault Monster fighter sports large legs after she is upgraded in the first game.
