On Wednesday 343 hosted a special Season 2 Community Livestream during which it previewed content from the upcoming Halo Infinite update. One part of the preview stream was a breakdown of Season 2's Battle Pass and the earnable content therein. When approaching Rank 50 of the battle pass, instead of the battle passes rewards Halo Infinite fans were shown a brief cryptic teaser video. After the video had ended, 343 had scrolled past rank 50 and didn't acknowledge what had happened.
