Where The Guardians Of The Galaxy Go In Thor: Love And Thunder

The Guardians of the Galaxy appear briefly in Thor: Love and Thunder, but where do the Guardians go after they leave Thor by himself? After they appeared in the first part of the movie, it was implied that the Guardians would return sometime before the Thor: Love and Thunder ending. However, they never reappear after they leave Thor, and Thor: Love and Thunder never reveals where exactly the Guardians go.
After Thor and the Guardians part ways so Thor can respond to Lady Sif's distress call, the Guardians do some investigating of their own, which means that they likely also found out about Gorr the God Butcher's rampage across space. However, since the Guardians never get back in touch with Thor throughout the rest of the movie, then they must have found something else that requires their full and undivided attention. In any case, the Guardians' appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder lays the groundwork not just for the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, but more importantly, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will reportedly see the MCU debut of Adam Warlock.

Just like the other members of the Thor: Love and Thunder cast, it's likely that the Guardians also discovered the corpses of dead gods and fallen civilizations in the wake of Gorr. While this means they probably go in Thor: Love and Thunder to wherever this trailer leads them to, it's likely their adventure was cut short, as wherever they end up, they're bound to be found by Adam Warlock in order to set up the third film in their trilogy.
