In Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, some of the beloved monster charactersend up turning into humans in the fourth and final movie in the series and the comparison between their befores and afters is fun to see. The Sony animated adventure movie was finally released worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on January 14, after multiple changes to theatrical release date caused by a surge of Covid-19 cases worldwide ended up canceling the theatrical release altogether. Hotel Transylvania 4 wound up to the small screen instead, offering an interesting change of environment for Count Dracula (Brian Hull), Mavis (Selena Gomez), Johnny (Andy Samberg), and their friends at the medieval monster hotel, who struggle with monster-to-human transformations.
Hotel Transylvania 4 focuses on Count Dracula, this time voiced by Brian Hull (previous Drac Adam Sandler, who voiced him in the first three movies, had left the franchise), celebrating the 125th anniversary of the hotel with his family and friends. Drac is hiding something, though, as he plans to announce his retirement during the event and leave his precious hotel to his daughter Mavis and her human husband, Johnny. Getting cold feet, Drac makes up excuses that impede the hotel ownership transfer to Mavis and Johnny, but in doing so, Dracula unintentionally sets a plan in motion where Johnny ends up transformed into a monster and the monsters turn human, leading to many funny sketches about their newfound circumstances.
