Season 3 of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy sees Grace discover the Kugelblitz in the Sparrow Academy basement and strangely begin worshipping the world-ending threat. The return of The Umbrella Academy comes almost a full two years after the release of the second season of the hit Netflix series. While The Umbrella Academy season 4 is yet to be announced, the new Hargreeves-centered universe the Umbrellas have to face after the Season 3 cliffhanger finale promises even more timeline-altering antics.
The Umbrellas' return to the present day brings about a new fledgling apocalypse which Grace soon nurtures into world-ending size. The Kugelblitz is formed because the adopted Hargreeves' mothers died before they were born, creating the temporal anomaly known to The Commission as the Grandfather Paradox. Grace begins worshipping the Kugelblitz and even tries her best to defend it when the Umbrellas and Sparrows begin containing the Kugelblitz in Christopher before Five (Aidan Gallagher) is forced to shut her down.

Grace worships the Kugelblitz threat because she sees it as God. She says the sounds the Kugelblitz makes are messages from God and even makes offerings to the apocalyptic entity while singing to it. Grace's fanatical devotion is also why she writes on the floor in front of the Kugelblitz, though the chalk symbols do not have an explained significance to date.
