It's not even been two weeks since the launch of Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, but we're already gearing up for our first look at Magic The Gathering's next set, Streets of New Capenna.
This week's WeeklyMTG stream will be giving us early details of the set, and likely a few very early card reveals, ahead of its formal preview season next month.

As announced on Twitter, the WeeklyMTG stream will begin at 2:30PM PST (10:30PM GMT) on the official Twitch and Youtube channels. We won't see any new mechanics if it follows the same trend as the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty and Innistrad: Crimson Vow sneak previews. Instead, we might see one or two of the major faces of Streets of New Capenna, a few of its art treatments, and maybe a handful of other cards. This is not the same as the full reveal stream that kicks of preview seasons, it's merely a small taste of what is to come.
And what is to come sounds incredibly exciting. Streets of New Capenna is a set based on art deco, noir, and mafia movie aesthetics in a city built by angels, but run by five demon families. We already know the demonic Planeswalker Ob Nixilis will appear in the set, as will Elspeth Tirel, who we last saw escaping the Theros underworld in Theros: Beyond Death.
Mechanically, we also know the set is going to have a large three-colour matters theme, with each of the five families representing one of the colour identities at the core of the set. We don't know for sure which colours these will be, but it's likely going to be the allied-colour shards, considering it hasn't been too long since the wedge-focused Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths.
