Wayfinder Global Closed Beta Test is Live
The Wayfinder closed beta has begun. Airship Syndicate is continuing to send out invites today for the MMO-lite's biggest playtest ever.
This global beta was delayed out of its original date of May 10th, so the team is sending out invites today in waves in order to prevent a crush of people trying to access the beta at the same time. They began sending out invites in waves beginning this morning, and continuing to update that new rounds are going out. So if you did apply to the playtest, keep an eye on your inbox to see if the next wave will include you. The final batch of invites will go out at 4 PM CT, so if one hasn't appeared in your inbox around that time, you'll have to wait for now.
The new beta, which is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, will run through May 29th at 10 AM CT, so if you’ve gotten an invite, you can help the devs with this big playtest round. There is an update from the team all about some of the new features that they have added for the beta build. Those include the ability to craft Senja and Kyros and their signature weapons, two new boss hunts, and —
Many of these features came after community requests as well as previous testing. the beta test is under an NDA, so we won't be hearing anything publicly from playtesters on what's going on, but for the next few days, more people will experience Wayfinder , and help the devs figure out just what might need some extra attention.
