High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3 brings back the original movie's Corbin Bleu in a first look video for the upcoming season. The High School Musical spinoff series premiered on November 8, 2019, and found a home at Disney+. The series was recently renewed for HSMTMTS season 4 even before the release of season 3, which is set to premiere on July 27.
HSMTMTS takes place in a universe where the High School Musical movie series exists. HSMTMTS seasons 1 and 2 followed the students at East High, the school where High School Musical was filmed, as they staged first High School Musical: The Musical and then Beauty and the Beast. HSMTMTS season 3 will step away from East High and instead follow theater students at Camp Shallow Lake for the summer. Season 3 will feature returning faces like Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett as Nini and Ricky alongside several new cast members as regulars. Hannah Montana alum Jason Earles and High School Musical star Corbin Bleu are also joining the cast.
