With Chip Zdarsky and Jorge Jimenez taking over the reins as the new writer and artist team for Batman in the coming months, some unbelievable covers have been revealed showcasing just how beautiful this new era will look.
Since being relaunched along with DC's Rebirth line, Batman has seen a handful of creative teams. Most notably, writer Tom King began a long run on the title before passing it off to James Tynion IV, who left the title following the conclusion of his Fear State storyline. Joshua Williamson is currently writing Batman, having just finished his Abyss storyline while still dealing with the aftermath of Tynion's Joker War crossover. But writer Chip Zdarsky is set to take over for him later this year.

Zdarsky will begin his run on the title with Batman #125, set to be released in July. Jorge Jimenez will be responsible for the art and he posted in a tweet his cover for issue #127. But that's not all. There were also be a series of unbelievable variants featured for Zdarsky’s run as well. Inhyuk Lee will be doing a Catwoman variant, Alex Garner will be doing a Batman and Robin variant, and Gabriel Dell'Otto has a wrap-around cover that showcases an injured Batman in Gotham's sewers.
Zdarsky revealed all this on his Substack, where he also included a teaser of his upcoming Image book Public Domain #1. Before he did that, though, he revealed one last black and white Batman variant cover by Jock. This cover showcases Gotham’s skyline with an outline of Batman soaring between the skyscrapers in the distance.
