Cart racers aren't anything new. From the very second psuedo-3D graphics were invented, developers have been putting players behind the wheel of a car. With the advent of the Mario Kart series, clones started to crop up from every corner of the gaming industry. In just the last few years, there have been countless cart racers that have tried to replicate Mario Kart's satisfying gameplay and distinct cheery charm. None have found the same level of success, regardless of any Nickelodeon licenses or Disney theming. Still, that won't stop developers trying, and the recently announced Warped Kart Racers is certainly going to try.
Announced just a few days ago, Warped Kart Racers is an upcoming Apple Arcade exclusive cart racer that puts players in the computer-drawn shoes of a variety of popular adult animation characters. With the Fox/20th Century license propelling this cart racer forward, players can look forward to jumping behind the wheel of Hank Hill's lawnmower, colliding with Peter Griffin, and zooming past the alien cast of Solar Opposites. While the starting roster of 20 characters from Family Guy, American Dad, Solar Opposites, and King of the Hill is impressive, there's room for more.

The first set of characters that should head to Warped Kart Racers as DLC are the cast of Bob's Burgers. Another family-oriented adult animation, Bob's Burgers manages to stand out from the crowd by delivering characters that feel so utterly genuine that audiences can't help but feel connected to their daily struggles and scrapes.
