Skybound Entertainment has teamed up with Genvid Entertainment to develop The Walking Dead: Last Mile, a massively interactive live event, or MILE, scheduled to launch exclusively for Facebook Gaming in the coming months. Since the advent of AMC's The Walking Dead over a decade ago, video games based on the Robert Kirkman-created universe have regulary hit the market. Telltale Games' celebrated The Walking Dead series remains the high mark for most, with duds like Overkill's The Walking Dead serving as the lowest of lows.
The world of TWD allows the brand to exist across multiple genres in gaming. Thus, while Telltale's endeavor explored episodic, narrative-driven adventures, Overkill's attempt involved a high-action cooperative experience. On the other end of the spectrum sits titles such as Saints & Sinners, a virtual reality survival horror FPS that's quite unlike anything else in The Walking Dead universe. And who can forget the brand's wide variety of mobile games, which includes everything from a survival RPG in No Man's Land to the location-based augmented reality title known as Our World?

Today, March 1, Skybound Entertainment and Genvid Entertainment have jointly announced The Walking Dead: Last Mile for Facebook Gaming and Facebook Watch.
