Since online gaming has become one of the biggest pastimes for most people during the pandemic, smartphone companies are launching phones that seek to offer better performance. We already have powerful 5G phones that also game well for a while, but how about something that is more powerful as well as cheap that somehow also manages to support 5G? Vivo with its latest launch T1 5G, has managed to do just that. The handset is available at a starting price of Rs. 15,990 and right now, it is one of the hottest phones in this price segment and on paper at least, it surely looks like an good deal. However, on paper specs tell only one side of the story. Is this new phone from Vivo any good for gamers, especially when you spend all day on BGMI or other such games? To find out, I have spent over 10 days with Vivo T1 and here's what I think about this handset. Vivo T1 5G Design If we see the design, Vivo has maintained its attractive looks with a gradient back in its Rainbow Fantasy colour variant. The back of the handset exhibits different shades of blue and orange depending on how light falls on it. Though the phone has a plastic build, it doesn’t look boring or cheap. It offers a smooth, velvety finish with a flat edge. It’s quite handy and light weight.
The front, however, gives a dated feel with LCD display, large-ish chin beneath the bezels and drop notch design. It comes with a tall 6.58-inch display. Moving to the functionalities on the smartphone’s sides, we can see a fingerprint scanner and volume rocker on the right, while the left has nothing.
