Galeb's Investigations at Jason Moore's Apartment in Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong can lead to the discovery of a Ghoul among the members of the Boston police force, whose motivations are mysterious and somewhat confusing at first glance. This guide will explain how to locate the Ghoul and confront them.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is a narrative RPG developed by Big Bad Wolf and published by Nacon. The game stars Galeb, Leysha, and Emem, three vampires from different clans residing in Boston. The World of Darkness setting reveals a dark and mysterious hidden world of the supernatural, and players must navigate the dangers and intrigues of vampire society as the stakes grow ever higher.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong's Camarilla Explained
Locating the Ghoul requires players to make use of Galeb's «Sense the Unseen» ability. This allows him to detect traces of supernatural creatures on certain objects in the world and lets him identify people who are not as human as they appear.
Using this power when first prompted will reveal that a ghoul (or «retainer» as Galeb calls them) is present somewhere at the crime scene.
Continuing to search the upper floor of the apartment will allow Galeb to identify traces of the Ghoul's presence around Jason Moore's client documents and on a number of books strewn about one of the hallways upstairs.
At the end of the hallway with all the books strewn about is the ghoul Galeb has been detecting. A police officer named Dana Lahane claims to work for the Camarilla council, handling «clean-up.»
She insists she isn't the murderer, however, and other evidence players can find does support this statement. Galeb can, at this point, choose to attempt to interrogate her about her mission.
