There's a new character in Vampire Survivors. Well, there are actually two new characters, but this article will only be dealing with one of them — Cosmo Pavone. Cosmo continues the trend of non-humanoid characters being introduced into the game; this time, instead of a dog, tree, demonic meatball, or dragon shrimp, it's a phoenix.

As with nearly every character in Vampire Survivors, Cosmo will require a little work to unlock. Fortunately, unlocking Cosmo isn't as difficult as many of the other characters. To begin, the player needs to select a character that hasn't benefited from any Golden Eggs. This includes eggs gained from the merchant, as well as those gained from the killing the Masked Guardians, Moon Guardian, and Death.
