The Epic Games Store has updated its free game offerings while confirming the two free games that users will be able to claim starting Thursday, September 15 at 10:00am CT. The Epic Games Store updates its freebies every Thursday, giving users access to free content with no strings attached beyond needing to use the Epic Games Store launcher.
The current Epic Games Store freebies consist of a free game and a content pack for a free-to-play title. From now until September 15 at 10:00am CT, Epic Games Store users can claim Hundred Days — Winemaking Simulator for their collection, along with the Epic Launch Bundle for Realm Royale Reforged. The Realm Royale Reforged Epic Launch Bundle gets fans instant access to the Death's Edge Assassin Skin, Borserker Chicken Skin, and the Nogard Mount.

On September 15, Epic Games Store users will have two more free games to claim in the form of Spirit of the North and The Captain. Spirit of the North is an indie adventure game based on Nordic folklore that has players taking on the role of a red fox. It earned mixed reviews from critics when it first launched a few years ago, but Epic Games Store users can try it without paying a dime. The Captain, meanwhile, is an indie game inspired by Star Trek, where players are tasked with making difficult moral and strategic decisions. It was better-received than Spirit of the North, but regardless, Epic Games Store users can try it for themselves come September 15.
