The Viking survival gameValheim continues to be updated since its early access release last year. One of the latest of these brought players new caves to explore in the game’s mountain biome as well as a handful of new enemies. In order to smooth some issues and bugs that have cropped up from this release in Valheim, Iron Gate AB recently released a patch for the game.
Valheim is a survival and sandbox game that was released in February 2021. Players are dropped into a hostile filled with enemies that become aggressive on sight.Valheim's world is split into different biomes that act as markers of progress for players.
Valheim Confirms New Bow Coming to the Game Soon
In the introduction of patch 0.208.1, the developers mention that this is aimed at removing bugs and issues and making the overall gameplay experience smoother. The bugs that have been addressed in this patch were related to Valheim's terrifying Trolls not getting staggered correctly, some issues that had been found in the rooms in Frost Caves, and an issue that meant smelters were using the incorrect amount of coal. On top of this, the developers have fixed a bug that led to some items not being covered in snow and a bug that led those players who were buying items from the trader to accidently purchase them twice. Some of the gameplay improvements that were added as part of this patch include items stacking in a player's inventory when they are retrieved from a tombstone as well as various devcommands improvements.
This patch may not represent a large change to Valheim but what it does address are things players have noticed in the game that took away from the game. The developers didn’t mention the reasons behind some of the bugs that were fixed in this patch,
