In this guide, we are going to go over how to get garlic resistance so you can explore areas in the Dunley Farmlands without building up stacks of this debuff. First, let's take a look at all the places where you can be exposed to garlic.
Throughout the Dunley Farmlands, you will find several farms and houses, as well as a few villages with townspeople. To protect themselves against vampires, these people will hang garlic on the outside of buildings, as well as posts near the entrance of an area.
When you pass by these areas, the corners of your screen will start to turn green, indicating that you are about to gain the garlic debuff. After the green is on your screen long enough, the debuff will begin to stack on the right-hand side of your screen, just above your skills. This means that if you enter into an area with garlic exposure, you can quickly run out without gaining any debuff stacks.
When you have the garlic exposure debuff, you will not take any damage. Instead, you will receive the following effects per stack.
With one or two garlic exposure debuff stacks, you may not feel these effects, but this can stack up to 100.
