Early Access vampire romp V Rising has shifted over two million copies to date.
The sales milestone was announced on Twitter by developer Stunlock Studios on June 17th, almost one month after the game's May 20th initial release. This means that V Rising has sold one million copies since May 24th, at which point the title had sold one million units.
The game also shifted 500,000 copies within its first week of release.
"This is the year of the Vampire," Stunlock wrote. "2 million strong!"
V Rising initially was the best-selling game on Steam on the week of its release, hitting a record of over 150,000 concurrent players during this time. The title dropped to second in its third week on sale, before falling to No.8 last week.
In its most recent update, developer Stunlock has improved V RIsing's Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Simplified Chinese localisations, as well as adding localisation for Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Turkish. This no doubt will help attract more sales, meaning we might be seeing V Rising in the Top Ten for some time to come.
