Euphoria star Javon Walton has now been cast in Umbrella Academy season 3. Umbrella Academy is a Netflix series based on a series of comics by Gabriel Bá and My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way, which follows a ragtag group of former child superheroes who reunite to save the world. For the upcoming season 3, which takes place inside the twisted Hotel Oblivion, Umbrella Academy has already cast Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, and Jake Epstein to play members of the Sparrow Academy.
Euphoria, which premiered on HBO in 2019, is a hit series that follows the darker side and twisted drama of high schoolers as they navigate the world of drugs, sex, and violence. Javon Walton's character, who is nicknamed Ashtray, is the younger brother of the drug dealer Fezco, played by Angus Cloud. He assists his brother in his illicit sales and finds himself in a rather sticky situation early in season 2.

During an interview with Complex, Walton revealed the future projects he is already working on. In addition to just wrapping on the Sylvester Stallone movie Samaritan, he has joined the cast of The Umbrella Academy season 3, which is expected to hit Netflix sometime before the end of 2022. It is currently unknown what character he will be playing, superpowered or otherwise, but he will certainly be finding himself in an entirely different universe than the harsh, gritty realities of Euphoria.
