The cast of The Umbrella Academy responds to season 3's ending and teases possibilities for what is to come in season 4. One success of The Umbrella Academy is the show's ability to raise the stakes each season by making it increasingly more difficult for The Umbrella Academy to save the world. This is due, in part, to the siblings messing with the spacetime continuum, creating paradoxes, and their family dynamics continuing to change. What their purpose will be in The Umbrella Academy season 4 is still unknown as it's unclear if there is an apocalypse for them to fight.
The Umbrella Academy season 3, as with seasons 1 and 2, ends on a cliffhanger after the Hargreeves siblings from both the Umbrella Academy and the remaining Sparrows saves the world. However, rather than being pulled through time to the 1960s or meeting their alternate version of siblings, this time they are left completely powerless. Another question that goes unanswered is whether every member of The Sparrow Academy still exists after The Umbrella Academy saves the world and restores the timeline, as evidenced by Allison (played by Emmy Raver-Lampman) being reunited with her daughter, Claire. The curious disappearance of Sparrow Academy member Sloane also remains an open question as she was there right up until the episode ended.
